We are working with a growing organisation that is investing heavily in digital platforms and internal systems to support customers, operational teams, and business growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Full Stack Web Developer to join an established development team, working across both customer-facing and internal web applications.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new features, improving existing systems, and delivering reliable, user-friendly software solutions.

The Role

This is a hands-on development role covering both front-end and back-end technologies. The position would suit someone who enjoys solving practical business problems, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of business-critical applications.

You will work closely with technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve web applications
  • Build new features and enhance existing functionality
  • Work across front-end interfaces, back-end logic, APIs, and databases
  • Investigate and resolve bugs and support issues
  • Support integrations with third-party services
  • Assist with deployment and release processes
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Skills & Experience Required

  • Approximately 3 years' commercial experience in web development
  • Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills
  • Experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, APIs, and databases
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with cloud or serverless platforms
  • Experience working with SQL databases and ORMs
  • Exposure to internal business systems, CRM platforms, quoting, or sales tools
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines or automated deployment processes

Responsibilities● You will be working on the Company's key strategic platform, RavenTrack● You will work alongside the Development and Test team, tasked with planning, implementation and delivery of hosting infrastructure as well as software deployment tools and processes.● You will be responsible for the CI/CD pipelines and look for ways to improve and enhance them as new projects require.● You will be responsible for improving the current architecture to run more optimally to maintain our SLAs.● You will need to help with improving bringing up new Stacks in AWS using Cloudformation and Chef Requirements Required● Excellent knowledge of the Linux command line, bash scripting, configuration management tools, linux system administration tasks (monitoring, debugging, updates) and experience configuring and running LAMP/LEMP stacks.● You should have a knowledge of the tools and processes needed in order to achieve a highly available, scalable and performant environment and also some exposure to modern application deployment practises.● Working knowledge of MySQL● Knowledge of at least one the following languages: Python, Go, PHP, Ruby, JavaScript● Understanding of version control systems and the software development lifecycle● Self-driven and highly motivated, have an excellent eye for detail and be able to work and communicate well as part of a multi-disciplined team.● Hard working and willing to go above and beyond learning new skills.● Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services● Configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet● Knowledge of infrastructure performance auditing/ autoscalingAdvantageous● Experience with IaC (Terraform, Terragrunt, Cloudformation)● Vagrant and Homestead● Monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, NewRelic, Datadog, Dynatrace, Solarwinds● CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines, Gitlab, AWS CodeDeploy
