37 hours per week | Day shift | Monday-Friday

First Achieves engineering department are working with a well-established organisation

within the water and wastewater sector who are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join

their site-based maintenance team at a Wastewater Treatment Works in Leven.

This role offers a stable weekday schedule, strong earning potential through overtime, and the

opportunity to work within critical national infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of the role include

* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on site

* Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

* Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and O&M manuals

* Work with PLCs and star/delta starters

* Support mechanical fitters when required

* Assist in the development of apprentice engineers

* Contribute to a structured site maintenance regime

Essential experience for the role

* Time-served electrician or HNC Equivalent qualification in Electrical engineering

* 18th Edition qualified

* Strong electrical fault-finding capability

* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

* Flexible and proactive approach

* Wastewater / industrial maintenance experience preferred but not essential

* Comfortable working with heights and in confined spaces

* Physically fit, this is a hands on role

Desirable (but not essential)

* Safe isolation of electrical and mechanical equipment

* Training or awareness of LOLER, PUWER, DSEAR

* HV competency
