First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Sheet Metal Worker for their client based in Aberdeen who are a design and manufacturing company for the O&G sector.

Up to £20/hr, Aberdeen, Permanent Dayshift role.

You will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of products made from thin metal sheets.

The Role:

  • Operating CNC, Guillotine, Press Brake
  • Select appropriate settings, materials, and techniques based on project requirements.
  • Read and interpret schematics, and technical drawings.

Experience Required:

  • Experienced in Sheet Metal Fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, a keen eye for detail.Up to £15/hr, Permanent Dayshift role.The Role:Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as shears, press brakes, and rollers.Inspect and ensure the quality of fabricated parts and assemblies.Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Experience:Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and equipment operation.Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
